Justice (Dike, on the left) and Divine Vengean...

Justice (Dike, on the left) and Divine Vengeance (Nemesis, right) are pursuing the criminal (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Dear Greg,

This finds echoes in Kalina. It seems obvious that the “spoils of
office” are shared with the senior clergy, or actions would have been
taken. At least the suspected would be transferred away from the scene
of (to be polite) their alledged criminal activity, to clear the
atmosphere. I do not ask for a “hanging” as demanded at Malvani – just
sweep your dirt under the carpet and start with a clean slate (pardon
the mixed metaphors).

The religious leadership which should be seen to be like Ceaser’s wife
are displaying themselves like the emporer without clothes.

I am disappointed that they voice concern (are they crocodile tears)
that people leave the church. Are people leaving out of concern for
their souls, because the ‘annointed’ fail them.

Best regards

Naveen Fernandes

Naveen…….If one leaves the Church, because out of concern for their souls…..or because the ‘annointed’ failed them then they are really fools.

One cannot club the Church – a parish or particular parish priest altogether. Although yet a priest is a representative of Christ, and His Church, but because of his sinful nature (like all of us) they probably fail in their duty. The Catholic Church is perfect, yet at the same time most of the individuals who run, probably are not.

Remember it is only in the Catholic Church that one can physically touch God….not symbolically but in the reality….because the bread & wine literally becomes the Body & Blood of Jesus….you will not find this fact anywhere else. And if they are concerned about their souls….then the Catholic Church is the place to remain…or else your missing a huge grace.
